FPIF encourages public comment on draft rules. Draft rules will be considered by the committee responsible for the subject matter of the draft rules. A 1st Public Notice of draft rules shall be posted on the FPIF website at least one week in advance of the committee meeting at which the rules will be considered. Members of the public are encouraged to submit public comments on draft rules at least 24 hours in advance of the committee meeting.
Draft rules recommended for approval by a committee will be posted for a 2nd Public Notice on the website as soon as practicable following the committee’s recommendation. If the committee revises the draft rules, a redlined copy of the revised draft rules shall be posted on the website. Members of the public are encouraged to submit public comments on the recommended draft rules at least 72 hours in advance of the Board meeting at which the recommended draft rules are to be considered for adoption.
